Westbound Lane Closure on Kennedy Bridge Starting Sept 23rd

Motorists will experience a single lane closure on the Kennedy Bridge on Wednesday, September 23rd starting at 9am. This closure will allow crews to sealcoat the bridge deck and flush the sidewalks.

During the lane closure, a 12-foot width-restriction will be in effect. Motorists can expect delays and should obey traffic control.

Absentee/Early Voting Available at City Hall until November 2nd

Absentee balloting is available City Hall. Until City Hall is opened up to the public, please call (218) 773-2483 and make an appointment to vote absentee.

Absentee balloting will also be available at City Hall on Saturday, October 31st before each election from 10am to 3pm.  No appointment is necessary to vote on Saturday, the doors will be open.

A Few Reminders about Clean-Up Week

Clean-up week is not intended for picking up large construction projects, tree removal, or for putting out electronic and hazardous waste which should be dropped off at Public Works on Saturday, October 10th between 9am and 3pm.

Also please do not place any items on the berm you may want back.  To help with removal all items or piles should be kept away from light poles, electrical boxes, or any other hazards.  All items should be placed on the berm for pickup. ...

Fall Clean-Up Week will be October 5-9 & Hazardous Drop Off on October 10th

Clean-up week will be taking place the week of October 5th through the 9th on your regularly scheduled pick up day. Hazardous waste and electronic drop off will be on Saturday, October 10th from 9am to 3pm at Public Works located at 1001 2nd St NE.

Reminder glass and construction debris will not be accepted for berm pick-up.  Please call Public Works with questions at (218) 773-1313.

Business Grant Program Announced
The City Council and Economic Development Authority are pleased to announce a grant program to reimburse businesses for expenses related to COVID-19.
